Terms of service

What we provide, what it costs, and what each of us is responsible for.

Last updated 12 August 2026

The agreement

These terms cover your use of MolovoAI. By booking an audit, signing up to a plan, or letting a MolovoAI receptionist answer your line, you agree to them.

What we provide

We build an AI receptionist for your business, connect it to your phone line, and run it. What it can do depends on the plan you are on, and the plan pages set that out in full.

We build to the information you give us on the onboarding call. If your prices, services, or hours change, tell us and we update it.

Plans, minutes, and billing

Plans are monthly and priced in Canadian dollars. There is no setup fee and no minimum term. Your plan includes a set number of minutes, counted per month, resetting on your billing date. Unused minutes do not carry over.

Billing runs on the same date each month. Your first month is charged on the day your receptionist goes live. Signing up does not start the clock.

Going over your minutes

If you use more than your plan includes, the extra minutes are billed at your plan's rate and appear on your next invoice. The rate for each plan is on the pricing page.

Go far enough over and the next plan up costs less than the extra minutes. We watch for that and tell you when you reach it. We will not move you to another plan without asking you first.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. Tell us before your billing date and the next month does not run. We do not refund part months.

On cancellation we point your line back to where it was. You keep your phone number, because it was always yours. Ask us and we will export your call records before we close the account.

What we need from you

That the information you give us is accurate, that you have the right to forward the phone number you ask us to forward, and that you use the service for lawful business purposes.

You are responsible for what your receptionist tells your customers, because it is built from what you told us. Review it during the 48 hour test window. It does not answer a real call until you have said yes.

Recorded calls

Your receptionist records and transcribes the calls it answers. Recording law varies, and it is your responsibility to meet the notice and consent rules that apply to your business and your province.

We can configure your receptionist to announce that the call is recorded. Ask for it on the onboarding call.

Uptime

We aim for the service to be available at all times and we depend on telephony and software providers who do the same. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not control outages at your phone carrier or your calendar provider.

If a fault on our side takes your receptionist down for a meaningful period, tell us and we will credit the affected days.

Limits on liability

MolovoAI is a receptionist. It answers, quotes, books, and takes messages. It can misunderstand a caller, in the same way a person can.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect losses.

Your information and ours

Your call records, customer details, and business information stay yours. The receptionist we build for you, and the software that runs it, stay ours.

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it.
